There is not much to like about the property.
Negatives:
It looks very old and run down. It is close to both a major road and the airport. The noise is bad. The planes start warming up before 5am, but the poor excuse for a breakfast doesn’t start until 6:30am.
Very poor location!
The breakfast is awful. No hot food. Only old bread and stale croissants!
Terrible hotel! Way too expensive for what you get! Stay somewhere else!

Positives:
Convenient location near Sidney town centre, Mary Winspear Centre, Swartz Bay ferry, and Victoria airport. Conveniently, they give you pre-packed breakfast to go if you need to leave very early in the morning.
Negatives:
Faint trace of a stale smoke smell in the room (probably the sheets). Not unusual or objectionable, though.

Great location. Whenever I go to Victoria I stay here. Sidney is a nice little town with a number of coffee shops and boutique stores. The hotel is always very clean and the rooms are spotless. Everything works very well. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are great! I have never had a problem with the staff as they are always friendly, knowledgable and courteous. The only minor complaint is that the provided breakfast is not very good. There used to be an associated restaurant that you could get a breakfast voucher for but it has closed. Good news is that the hotel is going to be setting up a proper breakfast area as they have been approved todo so. I expect to back in Sidney for sure in November 2024 and will stay here. A new breakfast area will be nice but since the hotel is so good it really doesn’t matter. I certainly recommend this hotel.
