The location was great although I was disappointed not to have a river view!! Breakfasts were also a huge hit with the whole family.
Negatives:
It took a couple of days for me to realise that tea and coffee were available at all times downstairs (I rushed out to buy tea bags and was struggling with microwaving cups of water in order to make my 'very British' cups of tea in our room!!) I realise this was partly my fault for not asking but could perhaps be pointed out on arrival for visitors who don't know to expect this.

The staff made my stay...
Positives:
The location was very close to our event. The view was spectacular; overlooking the Detroit River. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant.
Negatives:
I only have two complaints. We had to pay for parking and the sound from the street was quite loud; even 10 floors up. Friday and Saturday nights some people in tuner cars were red lining their engines and backfiring for over an hour. The second problem is not really the hotel's fault, but a location issue.
