This is not a 4 star hotel. I am surprised Marriott owns this. The hotel is not clean. It is 2.5 star max 3 star hotel. I hate writing bad reviews, but do yourself a favor, spend a bit more money and go somewhere else, maybe Hilton, right next door.

Positives:
Location was convenient to sights and restaurants in the old quarters. Towels were plenty and in great condition.
Negatives:
Hotel is definitely a three star. Dated furniture and general quarters. In need of a renovation. Rooms werent clean.

There was some renovation in the lobby, when we checked in, but it was quickly finished. The room was clean. The location was very good in a walking distance from the old town. The hotel has its own parking (paid separately) and it was convenient to leave the car there while we were sightseeing.

It was under construction, bed was not comfortable.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. They had no problem accommodating our early arrival and checkout time was 12:00 pm, which gave us time to site see in the morning without having to take our luggage along with us.
Negatives:
The connecting knob on the extra security lock on the room door was broken so there was no way to double lock the room door.
