Hotel was under construction but we were not advised upon booking. Bathroom facilities in our room didn’t work properly. Toilet wouldn’t flush properly so we often had to go out of the room just to use the washroom, however when we did try to use the other hotel public washrooms they were out of order. That made it quite comfortable.

This is not a 4 star hotel. I am surprised Marriott owns this. The hotel is not clean. It is 2.5 star max 3 star hotel. I hate writing bad reviews, but do yourself a favor, spend a bit more money and go somewhere else, maybe Hilton, right next door.

Positives:
The first night we did experience some minor problems in the room (toilet was not flushing properly). the front desk staff were extremely attentive and were able to move us to a new room with a fully functional bathroom. Anything we asked for was looked after immediately. It was a fully booked hotel and was amazed at the service we received. We felt like we were given the royal treatment.

The rooms were fine. The breakfast, which was extra, was fine. Nothing spectacular but good enough for what you paid for.
Negatives:
There was construction outside the hotel which was visually unpleasant.
They were not able to give us adjoining or next to each other rooms although we booked it many weeks before.
