The location was near college we were visiting to watch son’s baseball game. I was not charged for not being able to stay at this facility .
Negatives:
Well we had made the reservation through booking.com and had a confirmation number. When we arrived at the site the outside door was locked and it took three separate times picking up the phone outside for the worker inside to respond. She said they were sold out but unless we had a reservation we would be unable to stay. She could not find a reservation under my name although I had made one and had a confirmation number through Booking.com for this hotel. The employee barely talked and would not respond when I asked her questions. She only said I was working back in the laundry room and that she could not find my reservation. It Was approaching midnight and all the other rooms in Montgomery and surrounding areas were booked at this time. I finally found a room an hour away in Auburn Alabama through no help from this hotel worker. I called booking.com and stayed on the line so they could confirm that I would not be charged for this cancellation beyond my control. my husband said I could never book at this hotel again and thinks it could’ve also been booking.com’s fault

Positives:
The room looked great when I first entered. The bed was nicely made with clean sheets and towels. The refrigerator was clean. There was room to sit and work at a desk and there a comfortable chair in which to lounge. The kitchenette was great. The bed was comfortable and THE AIR CONDITIONER WORKED GREAT! The staff was very pleasant.

The TV was quite small. The common areas were somewhat used and dated.

Dirty shabby common areas,people smoking at the doorways so the halls smelled like smoke,breakfast was just bad coffee and granola bars. kitchenette had no supplies,don't know why it was even there.
