As a Hotel in a northern climate, the parking lot was a mess , snow filled a part of the lot and there was packed snow making a bit of a challenge in walking. Also as a Hotel in a City that pushing Plug in the Car or Truck when it is below 20F to find THAT THERE ARE NO PLUGS FOR HEATING CAR OR TRUCK. The Hotel helped in more poor air as people where starting their car or truck and letting them run to warm up. Also there is only One Way in and out of the building. When I arrived I had to dial 0 too get some one to open the door to check in, I lost track of the tries, but at least 15 if not more before I can in when some one came out and called out for someone to come to the front desk, That person looked like they where on the phone with a private call. That person said there was a plug in for car or truck but the next morning I was told that the Hotel Did Not have any. This is not a place to stay in Winter for Anchorage if driving ones car or truck.

The front staff were friendly and helpful once specific things were asked, like getting more towels and bedding. And removing gum that was stuck.
Negatives:
The room had gum stuck to a lamp and the table/kitchen needed to be wiped down (we bought clorox wipes). We had a group of 6, and there was no bedding for the pull out couch and only 2 towels.
