the distance from the elevator to the room was unacceptable. It was my second visit by accident. When I arrived at the property, I realized that it was the same property whose pool was unavailable and remembering that the layout of the property was ridiculous. Equally disappointing (but not surprising at a poorly staffed time) was that there was one person in front of me waiting for someone that wasn't there. I called the hotel in advance to get a bonvoy number so I could get an e-key through the app. It allowed me to check in but the promised key never arrived. I had to text the hotel through the link before someone emerged. They may have been away with good reason but it was disappointing enough to comment on.
