Parking was cumbersome, one way entrance and exits. Not enough entrances to the hotel (foot traffic). It shouldn’t have locked front doors. Seems extremely uninviting to first time guests.

Unfortunately, the outside pic on the website is the back side of the hotel, so it's a little deceiving. Even though this was an older building, it was remodeled and decorated nicely. The neighborhood wasn't the greatest and not what we expected, it was close to stores, restaurants and public transportation so it worked out fine. We didn't have any problems. The staff for pleasant and helpful.
Negatives:
I will say that the room was a little small, not used to that. But the only thing that was really a problem for us was the air. We visited the hotel in March. The temperature was in the mid to high 60s some days. After sweating through the 1st night because we couldn't get the AC to work properly, we asked about the air the next day to make sure we weren't just unfamiliar with controling the AC panel and doing something wrong. We were told the AC in the room couldn't be controlled in the individual rooms. It was controlled by the hotel. I have never heard of that. When we tried to cool the room with the panel on the wall, the system only blew warm air. The mgr. said the panel only controlled the heat, even though there was a separate heating unit in the room. The mgr. offered us a fan to try to accommodate us. But unfortunately, the fan blowing on us all night only aggravated my sinuses and gave me a horrible sinus headache all that day. It's obvious there is an issue with the AC system but they just didn't want to state that. But that is something that definitely needs to work properly, with them being in a hot state. I cannot imagine what it would be like during the winter months. Unfortunately, with them having an AC issue, I can't really recommend this hotel, knowing someone could have an uncomfortable stay, the way we did. Honestly, I would have given them a higher rating if it wasn't for that huge issue.
