Positives: Really cool lobby vibes, spacious room with couch, umbrella provided in the room, range of personal amenities that can be requested, kudos to the amazing valet staff who seemed overworked, bedside charging point, nice of the hotel to provide some F&B credits.
Negatives: Some front desk staff had perfunctory attitudes, room ceiling had cracks, poor shower design meant the bathroom floor kept getting wet, no kettle or mugs in the room (coffee-maker only upon request), chargeable bottled water in room (used to be free), parking charges are exorbitant.
Decent and comfy
Positives: The location of the hotel is really good for a first timer in LA (with no car) like ourselves because is really close to a metro station where you can translate to a different places off the city, just be aware that in the metro you’ll see a lot of homeless people and that may be an inconvenience for someone, apart from the location the installations are very good the modern design of the lobby and restaurant were a plus for us, and the staff are really nice.
Negatives: Since we came the first night there was a technical issue with the internet so we didn’t get our key card until the second night, but they manage it so it won’t be much trouble for us to get to our rooms. When the internet came back we notice that it was really bad, so we end up using or mobile data to navigate the time of our stay, maybe it was because of their previous issue or not, but that was our experience.
Great location, great installations, and...
Positives: The front desk staff were LOVELY and the champagne on arrival was a nice touch. The bed was super comfy, the linen bathrobes were great, and so was the bath. The room was cozy. The lounge area was super airy and stylish.
Negatives: The restaurant is in some growing pains it seems. They stopped serving outright a few times while we were there, it was confusing ordering and everybody at the restaurant seemed to be really grumpy. It was a stark contrast the the front desk staff. I think it may just be related to pandemic and staffing issues, but JaneQ def. left something to be desired. Just felt a bit like it was being half run and limping along. If you don't need breakfast/to eat there then it shouldn't matter.
Lovely room, kind/helpful staff, restaurant...
Positives: Trendy, bubbly atmosphere, and great location. Pool was heated so it was a great alternative to the theme park when we are looking for some downtime.
Negatives: There were holes on our bed sheets

Positives: The worst hotel i have ever stayed in, the most unfriendly staff, horrible service, torn dirty bed aheets, dirty rooms, breakfast by order to very limits items served by very unfriendly kitchen staff
Negatives: The manager is a disaster himself, staff are trying everything to say no for anything, as if i am not paying expensive money, silly 500 usd as security deposit that they disnot release and had to call my bank to toe action against them, they kept me 1 hour to checkin while i was tired from flight and have an early morning the next day to pay while their old pos machines dont work & they dont accept any other form of payments, karl from the staff is sending me while i am at work random messages like we are not abe to send you a breakfast box, join the litchen for breakfast, i asked what the hell was that about? The answer was sorry u fee that way, the other front desk attendant send me security guy to stop playing billiardo in the table at the lobby as they will close the lobby, what ! Absolute rip off, the most unfriendly staff, dirty rooms & dirty bed sheets, noisy walls, this hotel is a night mare
