Positives: Location was great for our needs. The availability of parking was a deciding factor. The rooms were nice, although they feel a little tired and should be refreshed. Staff were generally very helpful and friendly.
Negatives: The bar closed very early and we were turned away at 9.50pm even though I believe it said they were open until 10pm. Not good service for a guest staying for 5 nights. Luckily Zack the barman heard about this the following day and gave us a round of drinks to apologise. The room service was also very slow and we waited over an hour for it to arrive. No apology was made when we had to call and check if it was actually coming. Your staff should be aware that a simple phone call to update or apologise would be appreciated. Some of the staff seemed to be inexperienced and unsure/unaware of certain levels of service expectations. It was explained as a labour shortage which seemed to be a convenient way of brushing it off.

Negatives: staff feel lil overwhelmed/undertrained. waited 30 mins at check in, couldn’t get bar tv to work for World Cup, breakfast orders messed up. maybe hangover from COVID …

Positives: Great location and very convenient access to everything we needed. The room was comfortable, clean and the lounge / bar downstairs was great!
Negatives: We were charged for someone else's parking in addition to our own on our final bill. I emailed the front desk twice about this and didnt receive a response. I texted someone on the number we received a welcome text on, and the lady was lovely, extremely efficient and got the charge reversed immediately. Thank you for the prompt handling of this after no luck on email.
