Positives:
The location and front lobby were great!
Negatives:
The first room we checked into had an overwhelming smell of pet odor. The hotel had no distilled water available for CPAP users. The rooms were run down and had visible screws and other handiwork items on the floor and hanging off the screen door.

Good exterior appearance. Good valet service.
Negatives:
Hotel interior much like 2 star hotel. I requested a king bed but got a room with 2 twins. Bathroom had poor workmanship on the tile install. Bed was sunken and uncomfortable. Don't reccomend hotel.

Rooms are old & outdated.Bathroom door did not shut,tub slippery,tear in bottom sheet.Big party in room nextdoor til 3 am. People partying outside our patio. Car alarms going off. Bare concrete hallways uneven floors.No modern conveniences. Wont go back!

Excellent place to stay while in Santa Monica
Positives:
I liked the design of the hotel. Good mid century bones. My room felt like a rundown motel room.
Negatives:
My room 417 was rundown and smelled of urine. The carpet was dirty and the drawers old and sticky. There were a couple of silverfish fish moth in the bathroom. I was compensated $60 plus dollars for room taxes. I was so very disappointed with my stay. Not a 4 star hotel at all.

Nice location, so so staff and facility.
Positives:
The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the location and the staff being very friendly and understanding. The staff did help me change rooms my first night because the mold smell was overpowering and I had trouble breathing.
Negatives:
Both rooms I stayed in were extremely outdated and dirty, stains on carpe. There was a "resort fee" but the pool had no service or towels, the gym fit 2 people and you had to pay for the tennis court $30 an hour.. nothing resort about this place.
