Negatives: Great!

Negatives: Pricing and one member of staff in particular was not very helpful. All of the other staff members were great though. Restaurant menu was very basic and highly priced

Negatives: Location is good if you need quick access to the airport. Not much else redeeming about the location, especially if you are hoping for a taste of San Fran.

Negatives: I didn’t like some staff not all being a bit unfriendly at times I didn’t like that there was no breakfast and I had to cross the car park to go to a sit down restaurant and I didn’t like how it was hard for the cab driver to get inside he either was not intelligent enough or the system was not user friendly

Negatives: I didn't expect they charge $48/night for parking, I wish they list this charge clearly on Booking so I am aware of this extra charge.

Negatives: EXTREMELY annoying smoke detector with green blinking light directly above the bed. Made it very difficult to sleep. I was very poorly rested at my work event because of this. PLEASE change the style of smoke detector or do something to cover up the blinking light because it is preventing your light-sleeping guests from getting restful sleep. Ensuring that customers have restful sleep should be the #1 priority of a hotel regardless of what other amenities are offered. It really seems like management is not considering the guest experience with this style of smoke detector.

Negatives: There is literally no parking for guests! The last time I stayed at this hotel, parking was free. This time it was $48/night!!! What? I see that more than half the parking lot is reserved for Park’n’Fly and NOT hotel guests and it’s so confusing to know where to park. The worst part is that all the spots near the entrances to the hotel and it’s perimeter are Park’n’Fly spots! They should be dedicated hotel guest spots! This is the highest parking I’ve ever had to pay at any hotel and it really made me never want to book with Aloft SFO again. I realize it’s clearly stated on the website, but it’s wrong to charge paying guests to park overnight when they pay for their rooms. I also didn’t like that the wing we were in was connected to the pool - so it was hot and muggy in the hallways and rooms and I know it’s due to the pool. The room was extremely warm and dry and because the windows don’t open it was so bad through the night. Our room was just ok. It was dated and needed to be renovated. There was a big stain on the carpet when we arrived. This is clearly THE dog room. We did bring our dog, but this was a very old and large dog pee stain on the floor. If you’re designating a room for dogs, don’t put carpeting in it! Duh! You also need to put more than one dog bag disposal bin at the hotel. I will say that the grassy somewhat landscaped areas around the hotel and parking lots is an absolute hazard! We did see hypodermic needles in the grass, beer bottles, and lots of litter. We would not allow our dog on the grass because of this. The landscaping, in general, at this location is very sad! It needs care!

Negatives: The carpark is expensive. They missed out making up our room and charge our 6 year old occupancy without checking which booking.com stated stays for free. After speaking to them, they attended and refund.
