Location was decent, one of the closer hotels to Angels Ballpark. Facilities ok, Breakfast decent, have had better at directly comparable hotels though
It served its purpose a good bed to sleep in in a decent location.
Negatives:
It will always cost stars, if there is an unannounced Deposit attached. It really should be so easy to add this to policies but for some reason many hotels forget this, including ALO.
But this was said during check in
Also the way the deposit charge was made now means that I instead of about 100$ in deposit now have about 180$ in reserved on my account. Since they split it up, but did put too little on the room charge initially. Then the deposit was used to pay the entire stay meaning the original room deposit is now staying reserved.
I know I will get the money back, but it is those little things that puts a stay down in rating
Just be open about it, us guests really don't hurt. It helps us plan ahead

Old hotel not booking again
Positives:
The property is in a good location, very convenient. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom looked clean. It’s a good hotel to stay in.
Negatives:
The elevator makes sound while inside, it made us a bit nervous. The 2 concierge personnel were not that friendly, they were not rude tho’, I do understand that when we checked in it’s almost 10pm (it was after the Yankees and LA Angels game), maybe they were tired but still in hospitality field you would expect approachable and friendly people.
