Positives: Location.
Negatives: Rooms, lobby, and all common areas are HEAVILY scented. Immediately caused me nausea and a headache. We requested no housekeeping and the front desk forgot to put this into the computer, so we got housekeeping (that scented the room - again). When I complained about this, they sent up an ozone machine to take out the smell. Why hadn’t they suggested the ozone machine two days before, upon check in, when I complained and they sent up a fan? Yes, a basic rotating fan to remove the heavy scent sprayed directly into the carpet with every housekeeping visit. Anyhow, the ozone machine (ran twice at 45 minutes each round) was only mildly effective at removing the scent. I believe it would work fine for cigarettes or other odors, but they spray their scent directly into the carpet every single day, so it’s really in there. Next, the rooftop pool was extremely cloudy. Looked like it had been peed in too many times and needed drained. I could hardly bring myself to get in although it was what I was looking forward to most. Lastly, the food was just alright. Mostly very small portions of overpriced food that wasn’t good or bad.

Positives: Breakfast included actually is a $40 credit per room and night. You can choose a la cart. The Italian sandwich is probably the most and best you can get for your money ($18) the overnight oats ($12) comes in a small bowl covered probably an inch. Fresh squeezed orange juice ($19) is actually up to 3 days old but made on premise. Food is ok, no healthy option, not much choice more like an overpriced Starbucks (which is the cheaper option just 1 minute away)
Negatives: In spite of being a IHG member, we got Mountain View rooms on the 2nd floor just above the delivery zone. That's multiple trucks starting to come in at 5am with air breaks, motor and people shouting to each other. It's supposed to be a fancy hotel, so expect a young crowd (either by age or by plastic surgery) partying a lot until late. So perfect place for no sleep at all. Balcony are not worth the bucks, afternoon sun burns the place, no loungers either, so you won't use it. Roof top pool is always crowded with the party gang, so make sure you look fancy enough and if you like chocolate, there is no mini bar, just a "shop" at the front desk and "Snickers" is the only option. Design is always a personal matter, I like concrete walls and roofs a lot, however if you put in random furniture and wallpapers, that doesn't make it an architecture or to remember. Rooms acoustics are off therefore, as well. There are no real doors just sliding doors, so you better be quiet in the bathroom. Toilette is barely covered by half a glass wall for visual protection, any sounds or smells will make its way to the bed room. Dog was welcome, no question asked, but also no service provided. No bowls for water or food in the room, no toys or cookies. Humans don't get anything but an empty fridge on the room, either. So that might be fair. No water at the entrance or lobby gives you an idea how this place appreciate guests with pets.
