The hidden and usurious pet fees. From now on, no more Hampton or Hilton properties for us. The Q&A answered said that there was a small pet fee. A trainee was on the desk, and we asked before we checked in why it was so high. She was going to check with a manager. If we had known the extent of the pet fee, we would have chosen another place. Most hotels have reduced pet fees, but not Hilton. These pet fees should be disclosed; they are a HIDDEN FEE, and Hilton should be held accountable.

I stayed there, overpaying for the room, because they advertised a free airport shuttle and I wanted minimum hassle for my early morning flight. There was no warning it might not be available. I checked in at 8:30pm and was told the shuttle was full not only for my preferred time (4am) but also for all other times even 90 min before my preferred time!!! Turns out they share one shuttle with three hotels and chances are slim you can use it. False advertising but they got my money so I guess it worked for them. Staff unsympathetic
