there was no running water available (shower, toilet etc.).
while the hotel did have signs notifying guests this was the case in the room, I had checked in at 10.30pm so could not feasibly find another place to stay after a full day of travelling.
when I raised the matter, the staff were rude and confrontational and I felt this was not necessary.
at the very least, would have expected some sort of goodwill gesture that waived partially the cost of the room, given a basic facility wasn’t available during the night of my stay.
I fully appreciate emergencies happen and that these things are totally unpredictable, however I don’t think that excuses the rude behaviour from the staff.
