Positives:
We stayed at the Hilton Bayfront when it had just opened back in 2008 (I think) and the place today looks just as nice and fresh as it was back then.
Negatives:
$45 for self-parking.

Usually great and clean hotel just taxes and resort fees a bit much

Usually clean but this time my room wasn't vacuumed or cleaned well the coffee machine still had the previous guests used filter and the shower wasn't very clean. Usually a very clean hotel though.

Parking costs $45/night plus they add an additional $35 for an urbanization fee. It would be nice to warn guests from out of town, who rent cars that there is no free parking anywhere in the area.

Bathrooms always smell like mildew I think it is the shower curtain. (stayed many times before) Be nice if they had showers instead of tubs. Also slight discrepancy between the person that checked me in on food credits and what I was actually given

The location was perfect for attending our concert at Petco Park (a 5 minute walk across the pedway).

Honestly, I've stayed at cheaper hotels that are a lot nicer (bigger rooms, nicer views), but I think you are just paying for the location here.

The hotel building was very nice. The interior looked new and modern. The staff members we encountered were friendly and efficient. Some of the rooms offer a great view of the bay although we had to pay extra to get one of those rooms.
Negatives:
Our room was overall very clean, but the bathroom gave out a musty-towel smell. Spraying air freshener couldn't get rid of it.

The only negative about our experience was the towels and bedding. I have seen better quality at a budget Best Western. Very thin and scratchy. Really a hotel this nice should be embarrassed about the poor quality.

Very spacious and clean hotel with many amenities. Walking distance to the San Diego Padres stadium. Nice area outside for running and jogging.
Negatives:
I did have an issue with my keycard not working to exit or enter the parking garage. I had to press the help button for assistance to exit.
