we loved our balcony room, bed/ pillows, the happy hour and free coffee…and blackout shades!!!
We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but it was lovely - loved getting water before, during and at checkout - all the staff was very kind!!!
Negatives:
the buttons for our blackout and shades didn’t work properly, wasn’t labeled and we had to call maintenance to do it. the shower heads need to be cleaned ( we use vinegar) so it doesn’t spray all over…noisy on street side.

this is a newly renovated property in the gaslamp district. The staff were helpful and friendly enough. We liked the bar area and lounge area. We were surprised at how good the breakfast was. The room was pretty comfortable.
Negatives:
There should be more attention to details, especially in the room. The windows were very dirty and there needed to be some refreshing of paint, etc. It seemed a little worn. The little sofa in our living room area was very very uncomfortable. Also it was hard to get hot water in the shower. We didn’t care for the location. It’s nice that it is near the Gaslamp but there were quite a few hobos wandering around, and there was trash on the streets.

It is a gem in a location that has a lot of “not-okay” people walking around. The bar-hoppers at night actually made it feel safer to walk after dark.
