Positives:
The location was perfect for our getaway. Loved the marina view from our private balcony and the firepits. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. Enjoyed that the resort had everything we needed and we never felt rushed.
Negatives:
The difficulty we had accessing the bikes. I understand the hotel does not own the bicycles and it is an outside company, but the app only worked on some of the bikes. Fortunately, the staff member that worked in the fitness center came out to assist and we finally found bikes that would unlock. She was awesome!

The location. Being at the end of Shelter Island seems like you are nice and secluded but everything you could ever want to do is an easy drive away.

The beach is not an actual beach you can go swimming.

Negatives:
They charged my card $---for a prepaid room when they were supposed to take a $300 deposit for incidentals and no one could tell me why. Also, our room smelt AWFUL! I had to spray perfume through the room and open the doors.
Positives:
A true resort experience. Classy, historic, resort in an ideal setting on San Diego Bay. First class restaurant overlooking the marina.

The AC unit was a little noisy. No screen door on the balcony.
