The location was only about a mile from the convention center, also right along the water for a nice morning walk.
Negatives:
This is a tired old building, roaches, wear and an overall smell of old. We had to be moved rooms. They charge for absolutely everything! Parking is outrageous, water is outrageous. Be ready for them to nickel and dime every single thing.

We were given a room right next to the ice machine which was super noisy when we checked in. They moved us but couldn't give us a like for like room in terms of what we paid for. The new room was fine but the original one would have been great had it not been right next to the clanging ice machine. Parking was convenient but pricey per night. The hotel overall needs updating - felt dated and furnishings need an update. Bed was extremely soft - felt like being sucked into a marshmallow which after 5 nights wasn't great for our backs!
