Positives:
Breakfast was good. The room was okay. It was not quite as described on the website and I didn't see the point in paying more for the "deluxe" room. This property does NOT have balconies like it says in one of the descriptions. It smelled very good and had a cute rooftop patio. The place was very clean, and the area in the front of the hotel is right considering where you are (downtown), but the back alley is questionable which is where our GPS took us. We were there for a concert at a nearby venue which was within walking distance. When we walked back late at night we noticed that the place was well lit up in the front and seemed to be free of any bums and filth. Overall, the place was okay but I feel like I could have gotten a better value for the same price elsewhere. Staff was very nice.
Negatives:
Parking was outrageous - $65 for the night - I don't care if it's valet. It seems they just take it to a nearby parking lot that they pay for. The car had obviously not been kept in a garage for it was wet from the night before when it had been raining. You also have to let them know 15-30 minutes before you'd like your vehicle. I didn't like the noisy a/c - and I'm not talking about white noise - I love that - I'm talking about the weird noise that they couldn't fix. The pictures make the rooms seem a little bigger, and although for the SF area, this room and shower were a decent size - it wasn't quite as pictured or described on the website. I found myself feeling disappointed upon arrival at first.
