The location was fantastic. It was close to the tram line and Union Square. It was a perfect location for our quick trip to Sans Fransisco. We picked it by pure luck and were very happy with our choice.

Unfortunately one of the cleaners was sick and I believe hospitalised so our room was not serviced daily but that was okay as I could pick up coffee etc at reception

The location was quite handy to everything and the staff were lovely and helpful. Towels were changed every day.

It was very noisy, the curtains were only sheer and didn’t close properly so very light, no air conditioning so had to have window open which didn’t help with the traffic noise.

This hotel felt safe for the most part. It's in a sketchy area, but once you got into the hotel it was safe.
Negatives:
There was no AC. Room was stuffy. Bathroom is tiny, the shower is so small and temperature control on the water was awful. One minute it's scolding hot and the next it's freezing cold. Felt gross in the shower - it's super old. No helpful information in the hotel room - couldn't even figure out how to call the front desk from the phone they gave us. No wifi password given, or information on where things were (ice machine). Beds were crazy uncomfortable, mine had a slant so if I passed the ramp side I would roll far and almost fell off the bed. TV didn't work.
