super chic yet vintage, the cookies, friendly staff.
less amenities than thought, cookies not 24/7, very thin walls, shower kept flooding the bathroom.
Enjoyed our stay, would stay...
Property is nice and centrally located. Room was nice though small (as is often the case is city based rooms). Appreciated the complimentary drink and coffee in the afternoon. There is a bar around the back and we had great food and drinks in there on our second evening - really reasonably priced for the location.
Our room overlooked a bar courtyard and the first evening an event was being hosted so it was noisy (though it finished around 10pm). We were also next to a store cupboard and around 11:30pm someone went in and was moving things around which woke me up again. The rooms are not serviced though you can ask for what you need (eg milk) at reception. The lift was out of use but the service lift was made available, we were not offered any help getting luggage to the room. None of those things would be too bad except we were unfortunate to be there at the same time as a major city convention which hugely inflated hotel prices. This meant we paid £850 for a 2 night stay which as a tourist is a vast amount and certainly not good value for the experience.
Well located but make sure...
Great location and very friendly staff, especially ramone who kindly went above and beyond in sorting out an issue on the first night. Thanks Ramone!
Great hotel and location
Beds were really comfortable
Free bottled water
Easy check in & check out
No bar - coffee, tea & (frozen) breakfast sandwiches available until 2pm
No food service
Mini fridge is ridiculously tiny - holds a couple bottles of water, nothing else
In Union Square, but right on the edge bordering a seedy neighbourhood
Charges $30 a day for an amenity fee; not sure what it covers
Nice hotel, limited services
very clean and good linens
I got stuck in the lift as did other people that day.
at night I got kicked off the WiFi which meant I couldn’t do any of my UK meetings… No explanation.
There was a club or a bar next to my room 212 so Friday night beyond noisy.
not helped at all by the fact that San Fran’s homeless situation is completely out of control. it doesn’t feel like a good place to visit as a tourist at all, statistically being the most dangerous city in the whole of the US according to Hoover research. it was intimidating, dirty and disturbing. Not the Union Square area I remember.
will not be returning
Arnold,Ruben and Moises were great and had good recommendations.
Common areas were dirty and...
they can’t look after you enough, very accommodating
felt slightly uneasy walking around late but that’s the same with most places
a perfect place to stay...
I loved it all. It was elegant, clean, great location and good treatment from the staff.
