It was nicely renovated and modern.
Negatives:
My sister went to use the restroom in our room and the door got stuck. It was clear it had happened many times before based on the wear marks on the door handle and the locking mechanism itself. When I called down to the front desk the associate confirmed it was an issue as reported previously. It took 45 minutes to get her out of the restroom with a crow bar. If it was a known issue why have guests stay in that particular room?

Our daughter plays softball at SJSU and we travel with our two dogs. We’ve tried a few other hotels, but keep coming back here. We love the location, the rooms are clean and comfortable, there’s a grass area in the back for our dogs. It’s a win-win for our needs! We’ll be back!

Cost of room was pricey, much more than other similar hotels. House cleaning starts early and you can hear them. My reasoning - if you are paying a lot of money for a room, then then hotel should be considerate and allow their guests to sleep in without being bothered by house cleaning.
