AMAZING
Positives:
Staff understanding when I caught Covid and had to isolate in the room for four days. Allowed my husband to bring me breakfast from the breakfast bar.
Loved kitchenette and nearby restaurants within walking distance.
Good to have microwave meals to buy in the little shop in the hotel. We made use of those during isolation.
Negatives:
Guests should have been asked to wear masks in all communal areas. Four of us across three rooms (3 on 3rd floor and one on 7th floor) caught Covid during or just after our stay. I'm not saying it was the hotel's fault, but there must have been infection spreading about involving the four of us.
Our phone didn't work when we arrived. Staff suggested things to try differently about diailing for days. We finally insisted the phone be changed, A reluctance on the staff's part to do that. Technician finally came up on the 6th day to do some tests and he confirmed that something was wrong with the phone.
The air conditioning and the refrigerator were very noisy. The refrigerator noise went on 24/7. I felt the air conditioner filter needed changing. Air smelled metallic when it was on. A notice came round the last day we were there saying the filters were going to be changed that day - as part of their "annual" maintenance schedule.

The breakfast was delicious I enjoyed the fresh fruit. I do wish they would bring the omelette bar back. Room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, we came back from our day trip our room was clean housekeeping did a great job.
