We do not have access to the hot tub and swimming pool due to maintenance. We do not have Grab and Go Breakfast available. Shopping at the Vintage Faire Mall is 28 miles from this motel. The McHenry Museum of Arts is around a 40-minute drive away.

Fan and light in bathroom were together. Had to use fan if you used the light. Breakfast was way too late.

It is close to the freeway with easy on off access. Gas station and food are nearby. We were able to stay on the bottom floor of the hotel.
Negatives:
My reservation was wrong. I made a reservation for 4 guest. Booking registered 3 and the hotel had 2. We decided to book closer to our destination

We've stayed here before and came back because we like the location and the motel. Staff are friendly and the room is nice. We will continue to come back as we make future trips to southern California.

Positives:
Very convenient to highway and pleasant staff. Our room was at the rear of the property and surprisingly quiet considering closeness of highway.
Negatives:
Would be a good idea to have a supply of bath plugs on hand. Ours did not have one and had to use a face towel as a plug. Staff apologetic but gave us the face towel to try.

The price was great. Check in was easy. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and pleasant. What I liked most is that there was a tub & a microwave. The refrigerator was really cold so our drinks stayed chilled. A/C worked great & there was plenty of parking in the well lit guest parking lot. Breakfast consists of packaged Danish. Cereal but no milk. Don't expect much from the "breakfast included". The McDonald's takes advantage of the location by overcharging for their meals. A meal that normally costs 6 bucks is $11. The AM/PM advertises deals on stuff(like Rockstar's 4 for $7 but you have to be a member). Overall this is a decent location for the price but expect the local stores to up their prices.
Negatives:
The only downside was the sound of the vehicles on the freeway in the morning. For some reason it seems louder in the morning. Other than that the stay was decent. Oh & housekeeping knocks around 11 so check out is at 11 not 12 like we had thought.
