Positives: The room was cleaner than I expected and the bed was comfortable. The location was excellent as far as access to freeway, grocery store and restaurants.
Negatives: There was a very strong smoke smell even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room.
Nothing elaborate, but it meet...
Positives: friendly staff and helpful pet friendly
Negatives: lobby and hallways smell of smoke. a lot of homeless in the parking lot. security in parking lot but can’t be in multiple places at once.
adequate but would not stay...
Positives: Staff was great and you can tell the venue was closing the next day and becoming a homeless shelter. We had dripping faucet in shower, chipped paint everywhere, soap for kitchen not provided. Smell of pot in the halls, really loud rooms (music, yelling, thumping footsteps overhead). We stayed here a couple of years ago so I thought it would be fine. If this was my first experience for Extended Stay I would never return. Really disappointed for the money we paid.
Negatives: I get you don't want to spend extra money on repairs--at least make sure the few rooms you'll use are up to Extended Stay's quality. I should never be able to tell you're going to close.
Disappointed in Extended Stay--not my...
Positives: it had a kitchen
Negatives: it would probably be the pricing
would stay again
Positives: That everything was clean and staff was friendly.
Negatives: That It was not exactly what I reserved on booking.
It was fine! Not what...
Positives: The front desk, LeDeanna, was wonderful. Outstanding in all facets. She promptly addressed by concerns with the first room and gave me an alternative room. Once I presented her with the significant problems that existed in that room, she was more than happy to assist me in getting a full refund on the room.
Negatives: Apparently the place has become a glorified homeless shelter post COVID. People loitering all over the parking lot. Bringing shopping carts with their belongings into the hotel. DOGS all over the place. The entire first floor smelled like a kennel. The first room I was given...117...smelled like a wet dog. I mean it STUNK. Just couldn't even breathe in there. The second room didn't have that stench, but when we pulled back the bed covers the sheets were loaded with dog hair. We literally took a damp washcloth and were coming up with dog hairs numbering in the dozens. It was disgusting. Sad, because I had stayed here a few years prior and it wasn't at all like this. NEVER, EVER, EVER would I stay here, and it is IMO borderline negligence on the part of Extended Stay America as a corporation to even allow the place to be listed on any hotel websites such as booking, travelocity, expedia, etc. I shudder to think of some poor family who roll into town with no other options and get stuck there. It's borderline dangerous IMO. Friend who live in the area tell me that the issues are well known locally. Someone might want to let ESA know about it
It was so unclean, uninvited...
Positives: Not really any of it
Negatives: Everything the people that worked there had snobby attitudes it was hard to I find the entrance and the room was not the cleanest i really would like my money back
