Location of the hotel was great! Easy walking distance to the convention center and to local restaurants, mall, etc.
Negatives:
Room was very loud - lots of road noise and could hear other guests in the hallway and above. Plus, room I was given was directly over the parking garage. Hotel offered ear plugs and noise machine, but it was still pretty loud. Room seemed modern, but didn't appear crisp and fresh like other Aloft hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast was terrible and was not free - they had a few items (bagels, yogurt, etc) available for purchase. Also, no closet or hanging space in room. Not great for business travel at all. Staff seemed inexperienced and offered little assistance.

After 2nd night when they cleaned no wash clothes were left. After the 3rd night we were late leaving the room (noonish) but when we left we put out the door sign asking for the room to be refreshed, but it wasn't so 2 days no wash cloths ran out of Kleenex and had to call for more towels which were delivered promptly (thank you) but still no wash clothes.
Positives:
For a 3 star hotel, it is not that bad. Room was clean. Location was very near heart of the downtown.
Negatives:
We stayed on the second floor. We were provided with two sets of ear plugs but did not know it would get that noisy at night. It was so noisy that we could not sleep at all. I would not stay at this hotel ever.

I had to switch rooms three times due to issues, housekeeping came in in the morning when I was asleep. The walls are also VERY thin.
