Pretty bumps out this year staying here to be honest

The room we stayed in was very poor cobwebs in the corner of the walls the bathroom wall had mold on the wall, stains on the chair dunno if it was body fluid stains if ya get my drift! Lamp was missing a light bulb . The cocking around the toilet was bad the curtain rod for the shower curtain was barely hanging in there just over all a bad stay , it was just a for a night but the expectation of the  facility was very disappointing well not come back again.

Location was in between almost everything we had planned to do all within about a 30 min drive. The staff during the day was beyond friendly and made sure our stay was up to expectations.

Toilet didn’t work in first room they put me in. That room also had an extra mattress on the floor. They moved me to a new room without any hassle. But then there was confusion about the spare mattress that they needed elsewhere and came to my new room looking for it. Disorganized situation.

Positives:
The room was okay and the bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
There were hundreds of people there. 2 elevators in one spot only and so anytime we had to use the elevator (we were on the top floor which was floor 9) we had to wait forever or pack into an elevator with tons of people. These people seemed to be migrants and a lot of them were sick/coughing/sneezing. It was just uncomfortable being so packed into a hotel.

Even though it was next to a freeway, it was quiet.

It was located in a area that was under a lot of construction. Roads were not very good. Lots of pot holes.

The staff, everyone we talked to was very friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
The entrance to the hotel was difficult to find, and the rooms were very unlike the pictures on the app. Both lampshades looked like they had been drawn on by a child, and the furniture had all either been chewed on or carved up with a knife.
The rooms have balconies, but they do not get cleaned as we found cigarettes scattered on it. They are also cracked and look quite dangerous.
And this is not something the hotel could control, but there is heavy construction going on on one side of the hotel (the one we were staying on), so you cannot sleep later than 7 as the sound of heavy machinery will wake you up.
I've only just now realized you can upload pictures of the room for this review, I wish I had taken some pictures to show what I am talking about.

Breakfast was just ok. The AC did not work right. When reported it the front desk they really did not seem to care. I was in Denver during a heat wave. Even an I'm sorry would hev been better than complete indifference.
