The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and I loved the modern decor both in room and the common areas. The location was convenient to my work event and my home in MD.

There was a very loud noise while the HVAC system was on. I also was expecting to order room service for breakfast, but when I scanned the QR Code, all that was available were beverages.

The location is supurb. The room is well appointed and has everything I need. The staff were extremely competent and polite. I felt very safe in the hotel.
Negatives:
The blinds in room 407 do not block out the lights on the roof of the building next door. These lights are aimed directly at the room. As a result, that room doesn't get dark enough for a good sleep.

Overall, the experience was very nice, and the room was what was expected given the photographs and information when booking. Valet was convenient and efficient for us.

Close (walking distance) to Capitol, Washington monument, Smithsonian, and the Wharf (a great restaurant area)

In the winter season no bicycles available (that was not mentioned on the site, pity as I selected the hotel for this service
