Positives:
Location is great. Its was not beach front, but its 1/3 of the price of the beach front hotel only 1 block from the beach. I believe some rooms may have ocean view. Has a nice slide to entertain kids at the pool a a cozy little garden to sit and chat near the pool.
Negatives:
A little outdated in the rooms. You could easily hear the noise in the hallways.

I have stayed at this property at least 10 times during 2021 and 2022. My stay was always comfortable, and the staff was polite and accommodating. I just stayed there for the first time in 2023, and I will never go back. I met the new manager and he really thinks highly of himself. He will tell you all about how awesome he is and how the hotel is finally being run properly and making money. What he will not do is answer the phone. We had a problem at check-in. It was a front desk error that the nice young lady at the desk was having trouble correcting. My fiance was on the phone with her and asked to speak to the manager because the dollar amounts were not matching up. He said he was not speaking to her on the phone, that it was our problem, and that we needed to fix it on our own. When she did arrive and addressed the manager directly about the phone call, we found out why he wouldn't speak to her. The new manager is an angry, bitter old man who does not like women to be heard.
He basically told us to "f off" politely.
The pool was also closed shortly after we arrived. I am not sure what was wrong, but the water was milky and slimey. It remained closed during our stay. We were looking forward to the free breakfast. The bag breakfasts had gone away, so we went down for the buffet. It was the nastiest food we have ever been served. The eggs were dry and crunchy, and the sausage was undercooked. The kitchen staff was unsatisfactory. I watched a staff member from the kitchen bring out fresh sausage patties on a paper plate. On her way to the warming tray, she stopped to give some sausage to people already sitting. I was discusded to see her pick up the sausage off the plate and serve the customers bare handed. Then she slid the leftovers off the plate into the warmer bare handed. If we were not already nauseous enough as she turned to return to the kitchen, she hesitated to pick her nose. At least it was just a quick pick.

Positives:
The hotel is on a wonderful location. 2 minutes walking down the street to find the beach and the pier. Price per room is reasonable. The Continental Breakfast was amazing. It has scrambled eggs, sausages, bread, yogurt, waffles (2 flavours daily), orange juice, apple juice and water with lemon, coffee, muffins and oranges. The dinning area is big. The hotel has a pool, bar area and a beautiful garden-patio. The staff is very friendly (the women who prepare the breakfast and the cleaning staff) Front desk people are very kind and helpful.
Negatives:
The $15 parking fee per night.

Friendliness of staff, location, comfort of the beds, breakfast adequate. Beach chairs and umbrellas provided. Walking distance to many restaurants, beach, downtown area. Plentiful parking.

Building is dated but clean. One of the water slides wasnt in operation.
