We were never informed that it was under repair, when we arrived at the hotel looking for the famous pool at the W, we found it was under repair, At Least let us know that detail and them we can decide if we want to continue with the reservation

Bathroom setup is horrible (No privacy) place is a maze and elevators are old and take forever. They want to charge you for any extras such as a roll away bed (70.00 a night). . Can't take snacks to pool area so forced to buy overpriced food. Not good experience.

The front desk staff and conceirge were great. We experienced very helpful and professional servers in the bar on 2 sep occasions. One was Drew. he was super. We spoke a couple of times with our housekeeper, she fantastic as well. The bellmen were all friendly and helpful even when we just walked by. Thank you to the mgmt of the W Hotel and staff. You guys went above and beyond the call of duty. I cannot say enough good things about our stay.

We didn't have a great experience in the El Vez restaurant. We were seated in the back near the outside entrance. That area was extremely hot. Very uncomfortable. We asked for more AC but the server told us they stuggle with the heat consantly and that the hotel controls the temperature. The server was friendly but she took a very long time to serve us in the beginning. I am not sure if that was her fault as she could have seated multiple tables at once. After we placed the order, things moved much more quickly. Trust me, because of the heat, we were glad to exit as quickly as possible.
