Have stayed here before; it's a great place for the money. Beds are comfortable, and that's the important part for me - I spend all my time at Pensacola Beach, so a comfy place to sleep is my priority!
Negatives:
My only complaint is that some nights it was difficult to find a parking space. Otherwise everything was great!

The little beach area overlooking the bay was really nice, except the wooden chairs were in need of replacement as many of the backs were broken.

The room smelled awful when we arrived. Fortunately we were able to upgrade to a balcony room and could open the door to air it out. The beds weren’t bad but small. The extra blanket for the couch bed was all scratchy, wouldn’t let my son use it. Everything was extremely dingy looking. Marks on the wall, outlets, patches on the ceiling. There were enough plugs since the lamp and clock also had plugs on them. The bathroom is TINY. Have to step in between the toilet and sink to even close the door. Housekeeping only comes every 3 days- which is fine for linens and such- but our trash needed to be emptied. We ended up emptying it ourselves in the outside trash cans. Didnt see any bugs until 1 night when I found a crumb on the floor and I killed about 5 or 6 small roaches. While the small beach area was nice, it wasn’t worth the stay. Considering it’s a 2 star hotel, you get what you pay for. Breakfast didn’t have a big variety either. We only ate it twice in the 4 days we were there. One day it rained and the roof outside our room was leaking. Massive puddles and a drip to walk around to get out.

The staff was not friendly at all. We asked to be moved to another room, because the window in the first one appeared to have something on it. You could not see the view at all. The female staff member was not friendly when I asked if we could moved. The hotel could use some updates as well. We will not stay here again.
