Kimpton Lighthouse Hotel an IHG Hotel

Negatives: I feel like my room was a lower category than what I paid for. I should feel like I got exactly what I wanted or better.

Negatives: can’t think of anything

Negatives: Pictures of location deceiving, rooms extremely small. Bed was not a queen. Pool area was small. Over priced stay. Had to pay for parking.

Negatives: Bathroom sink much too small - no place to open toilette bag(no shelf etc)

Negatives: Room was very small and you can hear everything through the walls. Outside Air con units ugly and noisy outside of our room. But the most annoying was that housekeeping was terrible, not even a cover on the quilt!!! Pillow cases were un ironed and now I wonder if the bed had actually been changed before we arrived. We stayed 3 nights, day 1 the room wasn't cleaned until after we had been out for dinner so we had no clean towels, day 2 at 4.30 I had to go and ask for the room to be clean and to get clean towels, towels were in the dryer so didn't arrive until we had left for dinner again! Dirty glasses were not changed and on day 3 we left early in the morning. Pool is very small, max of 10 people allowed in at any one time. Its a very overpriced hotel, at least the 3 star is not trying to pull the wool over anyone eyes, but at this price $450 a night, its massively overpriced even by Key West standards.

Negatives: Room too small for the price. As my daughter said, “one step in to the room and there’s the bed.” Wood floor had area near bathroom that was raised from I believe moisture. Loud AC unit in the room. Walls between rooms very thin… heard more than I care to hear, or have my 13 year old hear. The swing that is featured in hotel’s pictures was really dirty… couldnt even sit on to enjoy. Parking was two blocks away from hotel. I travel many places (Siesta Key, Charleston, etc), and I’ve never felt the need to complain. But this experience was very disappointing. I feel like my money was wasted.

Negatives: Check in

Negatives: Everyone was surly, rude and unpleasant. There was one staff member who was wonderful and assisted us when we had an issue with our room, everyone else needs customer service training immediately. Particularly one woman who we assume was the manager who was awful and acted like we were an inconvenience and was rude to my children who were simply finishing their breakfast. We felt unwelcome and uncomfortable the whole time. The fact that my simple request of a receipt is now being ignored is just the icing on the cake. I have asked multiple times for one to check the charges, and they are not forthcoming. A complaint has been lodged with IHG and booking.com. I will be contesting the charges with our bank of a receipt does not come through today, it has been 3 days since I checked out. Your staff members are letting this property down. For the exorbitant cost we should be at least treated civilly.

Negatives: The air conditioning would go off on the night and the room would get warm but otherwise was lovely.
