From the moment we enter in the door the staff was so professional, kind and over accommodating. Once we got to our room a few minutes later a knock came on the door and there stood staff members with a tray of assorted cookies a bottle of champagne and a heartfelt note wishing me a happy birthday. They came in set it up, hugged me and again wished me a wonderful birthday and an enjoyable stay. I have been sharing with all that travel in my group to book their next reservation with Hotel Palomar. They will not be disappointed. Huge shout out to the wonderful staff who made our stay and eventful and heartfelt experience!! EXCELLENT, PHENOMENAL, EXCELLENT, BRAVO, HOORAY, KUDOS AND MANY MORE!!

Property was lovely itself but parking was a nightmare. Because they want to take the valet money they refused to give us the name of any local car parks or help us locate one (were brand new to the area)
Negatives:
I have stayed at Kimpton for years because they are so pet friendly and don’t charge pet fees. This one was okay about pets but at the end randomly charged us a pet cleaning fee but when we asked specifically why they refused to tell us and said it was standard - except it’s not with Kimpton. This hotel has seriously effected my relationship with the brand and I will be looking to move to another
