Positives:
I liked Yetta who was the only manager who seemed to know how to run a front desk and provide superior management support. I also like the younger kid with the gorgeous black hair who worked the late overnight shift on Sunday and Monday. He did everything in his power to accommodate us. Both were great. I also like the library. I love books and I am a Comms major so I found the liberty being the only chill spot on the entire property.
Negatives:
The property didn’t live up to its hype — perhaps because we came years later. IDK. Just seemed to be a dormitory for teens, 20-30 year olds. We arrived late Friday night. No bar. No music playing. No comfortable lobby to chill in. He bartender was serving 3 white guys but wouldn’t even offer me and my
Cousin a pre-birthday drink for her 55th bday the following day. Dead.

The location of the hotel was great. It was close to the beach and the Ocean Drive but it wasn't noisy. I also enjoyed the pool parties at Strawberry Moon.

It is expensive, but that is not due to the hotel per se but to Miami in general.

Everything else: the equipment around the pool was really dirty, the restaurent was closed even though nothing was stated on the website, the pool area and bar was privatized for an event, the staff was not friendly. A huge sum of money spent for a disappointment. I do not recommend

The rooms are tiny. Extremely over priced. You get nickle and dimed at every corner (I.e. a can of sprite is $7)
They advertise a nice pool, charge a $40 resort fee, but there are only 6 lounge chairs available without additional cost. Mostly there are sun beds and cabanas that cost an additional $500-$3,000. This is absolutely absurd since hotel guests should be entitled to a comfortable spot by the pool (weekend or not)
There’s also nowhere to get a water, soda or snack after certain time in evening.
Overall, this hotel is purely gimmick.

Great location near restaurants and easy walk to beach. Bed very comfortable. Room fairly quiet. Several activities included bikes, gym, beach. Pool was nice when it wasn’t a pool party which was 5 days a week but it did mean no kids/babies crying. I also coincided with Spring Break. I stayed 8 days and felt comfortable as a solo traveller.
Negatives:
Room is small not sure how a couple would manage for more than a weekend as no space to hang clothes. Room wasn’t clean on arrival, the bench in the room is grubby needs replacing and floor dusty. The public areas and carpet also a bit shabby, hair everywhere. You can’t open a window in the room either. I did appreciate the seaview in the distance. Monday and Wednesday are really the only days you can relax by the pool if you’re not there to party.

"Small" queen bed right up against wall so you can only get in on one side and have to disrupt other sleeper if you need to get up at night. Bathroom is not very private and has a door more like a shower door. Oceanview is quite far away, you can't see the beach in this area and views are just over ugly rooftops so not worth paying for. Pool bar was open but since we were not swimming, there was no place to go to drink a nice, cold cocktail in air conditioning (inside bar not available). Tried to get a beverage at pool bar anyway but we were ignored and there were bartenders and no patrons at 4:00pm on the day of our arrival so we left.
