La Quinta by Wyndham Panama City Beach/Thomas Drive

Negatives: The surrounding area is busy (due to location near the Naval facility and beaches) but accommodations were clean and comfortable and up to date, and offered a reprieve from the otherwise busy surroundings. Quiet and set away from the main thoroughfare.

Negatives: I did not like this property because our rooms were not cleaned when we lleft and returned the did not clean our room . We asked the lady at the front desk and she told us that they only clean the rooms every 3 days. They didn’t let me know this before booking a room that they only cleaned their rooms every 3days. They gave us a welcome letter that said it would be cleaned daily. They only put 2 wash towels in our room and when I asked for extra towels they would not give us any. We were staying 2 nights but after the first night I was done with this hotel. The water in the sink on our restroom drained out slow and the toilets kept backing up! This was an awful stay!

Negatives: I requested a king three weeks before. I arrive they only have two queens. I found that to be very annoying and in convenient for 2 ...71 year olds Breakfast was to say the least not appealing at all. You never make enough eggs for the amount of people staying there. No lids for the coffee...how do you get that to your room without spilling? Instructions on our sheet said hang on your door do not disturb if you did not require maid service ....well we did not have a that inour room.. so we wanted maid service. Didn't get it anyway. I went to get my own towels at the check in but was told.well I will get them for you " but you have to take this bag and put ]the dirty ones outside your door. I have never been so humiliated. I am 71 years old I DON'T WORk here. It takes nothing to be nice. I paid you. So all my towels went outside door. So did all of our piles of trash. Luckily for us there were extra bags. We have stayed here since 2019 3 or 4 times a year. This hotel has continuously gone downhill. Last visit it was barking dogs all night. They cater to rude springbreakers and you hire people who are rude and from another country. What has happened to good customer service and most of all kindness. Get rid of the don't care attitude. I am paying your salary. I doubt we will stay here again. Your prices are reasonable but it is not worth it to do my own work and not get what I requested way early. Shame on you. It is all about the money not the customer.
