The breakfast was good.
Negatives:
We weren't aware this location is under construction. Booking.com didn't disclose that information. We were on the floor with the majority of construction. When we arrived, the room NEXT TO US was noisy with drills & hammers. They have 2 elevators & 1 was out of commission due to remodeling. The staff moved us to another room on the same floor away from the worst of the noise for our 2nd night.

The location is right off the highway and was convenient to my client and the event that I was attending.

The Hampton Inn is in the middle of renovations, which was not noted on your (or their) website. After meeting with my client, I returned to my room to find my dog shaking like a leaf. Apparently, they had been jackhammering on the floor directly below my room. I don’t know for how long but I had to go to another hotel as the people at the front desk, although very understanding and nice, advised that they were unable to ask the workers to stop. There were blowers in the hallway and plastic all over the floors and the elevator (there was only one working) had holes in the tile.

The room was recently remodeled and very nice, on 5th floor. Breakfast variety was good.
Negatives:
The hotel is being remodeled and there is LOUD construction noises from 8 am-4 pm. Random maintenance men came in my room when I was by the pool even though I had a do not disturb sign out. The hotel should notify guests before check in about the construction noise. Our room was nice, hall was very hot and humid and stagnant. Breakfast variety was good however all hot food was empty at 8:45 am. It took 20 mins for the hot food to be replenished and it was replenished one item at a time.
