We were very disappointed that the hotel was undergoing renovations and we were not made aware of it before booking our stay. There was tarp all over the lobby and workers were all over. Our room was not ready after the check-in time and we did not have access to a restroom in the lobby.

The vibe was all wrong for us. Renovation work was ongoing and small restaurant up and running- not a great choice for evening meal snd very expensive. Did have breakfast which was lovely.
Have to say the best thing about this hotel was Charlyne the concierge! A total credit to Casa Monica. She just wants everything to be right - maybe when renovation work completed this hotel will have a different feel.
