Wifi in my room was awful, it basically didn’t work unless you stood in one corner of the room and it was intermittent. It worked elsewhere in the hotel, just not my room.
The door to the room kept sticking and was tough to open/close.

We loved the location! An easy walk to the Castillo and historic district right down town! The view of the marsh was lovely as was the romance and old-timey flavor of the train tracks out back. The real surprise was the little Columbian restaurant just inside the lobby! Incredible breakfast and fresh juices! Excellent Empanadas and Arepas!

The room was acceptable. Handicap.. the conversion job was poorly done. The handheld shower head was terrible and the only grab bar for the toilet was behind the tank. Not helpful for my mother.

Flooring in the bathroom/shower was poorly installed. The same with the handheld shower head.
We walked down to the restaurants and tourist area crossing the main road was life threatening pushing a wheelchair. I made an extra effort to walk down the street to the red light one trip and the cross light signal never changed. I tried walking the other direction to the light and the sidewalk was closed before we got to the light.

The only negative about this stay was the hotel is VERY close to a train track. Trains went through a couple times during the night and we thought they were going to crash through the walls they were so loud.
