Friendly staff, really amazing food at the restaurant downstairs (the Reuben sandwich and the red velvet cake are the best we’ve had), vintage vibes and nice location. Complimentary bottled water was a great touch.

Great location, easy free parking...
Positives:
The lobby with the Christmas tree and fireplace was so beautiful. The Tap room bar had great drinks and appetizers and service. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious. the front desk at check-in was welcoming. The hotel is iconic. A beautiful front porch that I could sit on all day. Loved it. Perfect to walk to Vinoy Park. All the staff in the halls were very friendly, it was a breath of fresh air in this day and age.

Very clean Comfortable bed ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS staff!!!! Every employee is friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar is also very nice. Nothing better than sitting on the front porch enjoying the sun.
Negatives:
Room is dark (BUT great for sleeping). I don't like to step into a tub shower (BUT that said water pressure and cleanliness of bathroom was spot on.)

A quirky unique hotel that...
Positives:
The pool area is nice, with the bar right there, though shady in the afternoon. The free parking and location, and in-house restaurant were conviennent. The decore of the hotel was great, vintage, with lots of St. Pete historical photos.
Negatives:
The room was small, and not particularly comfortable. The box AC is in the wall and between that and the fan it was super loud and made the pillows on the bed vibrate. Sensitive sleepers beware.

Pleasant quick stay in St....
Positives:
The staff was very pleasant and accommodating! They seemed happy to be there and to help you. They offer free bottles of water to their guests at anytime. The lobby was beautiful… very eclectic with seating areas and a fireplace.
Negatives:
Let me preference this by saying I am not a “Karen” in any sense of the word but was disappointed in the physicality of the building and wanted future customers to be aware.
The building seems old and felt like a boarding house converted to a hotel. I was located on the first floor. Since the rooms are right off the lobby and restaurant area, it is noisy despite their efforts to close a door between the two areas.
I heard everything in the rooms next to me and above me including what sounded like someone falling out of their bed at 3am. Could perfectly hear the conversation in the next room and the countless people walking in the hallway.
The hotel is dog friendly so you can hear barking at times and the people walking them through the hallway.
The bathroom is very small so if you are more than one person you could not be in there together.
The worst part was the musty smell which I attributed to the age of the building.
