it was not great, the staff did a nice job presenting with what their options were to offer.

The room was terrible, the bed was very uncomfortable, the smell was horrible, My husband had an asthma attach and had to go outside to get his breath. We both couldn't breath well the entire stay.

Would never recommend this hotel...

The location is very convenient to Florida State University, the State Capitol Building and lots of dining and shopping.
Negatives:
The common areas of the property weren't very clean. The quality of the breakfast was inexcusably poor. Taste was bad, quality was bad and selection was bad.
I understand that they charge a fortune on FSU home game weekends---that's just how supply/demand works. That being said, at a minimum, they should at least put forth a LITTLE effort to use a tiny portion of that windfall to making at least a TINY effort to make the place cleaner and the breakfast better during those weekends. I think this would actually help the hotel get better ratings AND more profits!

I liked the location in relation to the school.
Negatives:
They told me one thing, but it wasn't correct. When I was inconvenienced by pest in my room, the staff was very unfriendly. The room that I was moved to had a used washcloth, hand towel, and trash in the bathroom. Because Rachel was already bothered with the move, I just didn't say anything. I left early that morning. The housekeeping manager was at the desk and asked if I was the one that had to move. She said something like, " I apologize, but I was heading out the door." I was done! I dodged a bullet with that one because you wanted to charge over $200 for one more night! I was able to get a room at one of your sister's properties that I had stayed in back in June. I will never book at this location again, sad to say.
