Negatives: Our room wasn't as clean as I would have expected for a Hilton. It was dusty, the bathroom floor was not mopped, there was a long black hair on the clean wash cloth, fixtures needed to be updated,

Negatives: I thought charging 3 dollars for a bottle of water was unusual. The other hotels I've stayed at this year of which there have been 3 all gave a complimentary bottle or 2 actually.

Negatives: The property location was much further from the interstate than I thought. The hotel looked like it had old carpet. The baseboards and wall trims looked dirty. When we first got into our room, we noticed a cockroach running around on the ceiling. It ran around the whole entire room… we packed our suitcases again and asked for a different room on another floor because it was too late in the evening to look for another hotel with my 3 year-old… The front desk lady was nice, apologized and said that she would tell the hotel manager about the cockroach. She gave me another room that looked even more dated. The bathroom faucet and plumbing looked almost rusted and stained from the water. I wasn’t sure if water would come out of the shower, which it did surprisingly. The breakfast was decent with hot food like bacon, sausage patty, eggs, potatoes, as well as pastries and fruits. Overall, I was very disappointed with this Hilton Garden Hotel… I expected so much more from a Hilton group… Cockroaches are not acceptable!

Negatives: The A/C did not work and stayed at 74 degrees regardless of how low we turned it down. The bathroom smelled like mildew. The phone did not work and had to use my cell to call the main Hilton number which asked me for my reservation number before they connected me to the front desk. I complained about the phone not working and they frankly knew and did not care.
