The only good point of this place was close proximity to Busch gardens

The staff was rude, wouldn’t acknowledge my reservation- kept asking when I made the reservation (3weeks prior) although I showed them my original email confirmation
We initially had no hot water - after an hour we finally got warm water- each day we had to run the shower 15-20 minutes before we got hot water
No pillows or blankets for the pull out
Staff is rude & unwilling to help guests
Refused to give me a business card and kept repeating ‘we only work here’

The facilities were clean and usable. It was not exceptional. No complaints about the facilities of itself. The manager is RUDE!
Negatives:
The manager is RUDE. The receptionist attempted to resolve the issue, and he cut her off and flat out refused to help. All my information was there showing I booked the room. Even my credit card information matched, but he refused to talk to me because I added my cousin name as the check-in person. She was not present at the time. I had to leave the hotel, go to the restaurant to find my cousin, and then return with her. I showed him my booking reservation, my credit card, and photo ID to no avail.

The pool the fact that there is a smoking area but you're not completely excluded off the property because you smoke but there is a restaurant nearby and some of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable

What I didn't like was air conditioner not working as well on one side of the building because I have stayed there in the past on the other side and had wonderful air conditioning other than that everything was okay I wish they would serve breakfast there but everything else was just fine

When I booked I requested 1st floor due to surgery on my knee they booked me on 3rd floor.I inquired about it and was promise by 2 different employees that my room would be changed I went bac to evening employee he promised it was never done.then 1 elevator all the way on the other side or 3 flight of stairs…also the mattress was uncomfortable and had my back hurting so for my knee it was a painful stay

I liked Nothing! I had been to the property under another name with fair results a few years ago. This time the reservation system failed completely! Red Roof had no reservation for me and were little help other than telling me to call Booking.com. That experience alone would be enough to never work with the property Red Roof or Booking.com. Booking.com was no help repeatedly asking for credit card information and I was put on eternal hold on the telephone as they tell me how important I am to them. To add insult to injury they try to sell you a subscription to a vacation package while you are holding on the phone to resolve a major screwup! Aggggg! The next two properties in Tallahassee and Panama City were very good so Booking.com almost got a pass, almost, not they really screwed up the reservation or Red Roof Inn and Suites in Tampa did. I was beside myself, even when Red Roof supposedly found an empty room, so I was supposed to feel blessed at my good fortune, absolutely not! Never again!

There was a roof over my head and it protected us from the elements outside. The AC did work.
Negatives:
Disliked everything. No hot water to take baths with. Broken plumbing. Last day of our stay we had no water at all. Was unable to bathe. Floors in the room was extremely dirty. The room location was less than ideal as it was right by an exiting door. So all night long you heard clank clank of the latching system. To top this all off, none of the staff seem to care at all about our reports. Even when we first checked in there was a lackadaisical attitude of uncuring spirit. Not that of a welcoming business.
