By no means was this a luxury stay , but for the price my expectations were exceed. The facilities are in very good shape , no out of order signs or u accessable features. Clean rooms and nice variety of choices for breakfast. Staff friendly and social.

The indoor swimming pool. My granddaughter loves to swim. Its the main reason i stay at this hotel on annual trip. This is the 4th year staying. The rooms have been renovated.

Bathroom light was pretty dim.

The floor was dirty, food crumbs and hair in the carpet, dirty microwave, no coat hangers, curtain rod broken. The lighted mirror appeared to have a short, because it would turn on and off in its own and by 10:30, we discovered why the lighting was messing up. There roaches were crawling from behind the mirror, crawling on the bathroom wall, toilet and shower.
We informed the front desk of the situation, and checked out promptly after… checked out around 11pm and requested a refund, we were told to contact Booking.Com, and they would handle the issue since the room was booked using booking.com, and as of this review, it has NOT been resolved.

It was available and close to me when I needed it.

The renovations are very very poorly done.

Staff friendliness! More peaceful than other places! More parking than most and lots of light. Coffee & tea in the room was great but the coffee pot was dusty, and we did not know how to clean it inside.
Negatives:
The whole building needs some TLC, new rugs, more plants, paintings etc. & the breakfast was not "hot & cold," like in some places! The pool area needs an upgrade; new colors more plants or deco; I do not want to judge but with many tourists coming from everywhere the USA needs some TLC also. Please, do not publish this it is only for recommendations only.

I was billed more than the amount confirmed thru Booking.com. Another guest was as well. Also, the property is being renovated and we were placed on the second floor that had no carpeting in the hallway. Guests should be advised of this status before booking.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Big room and comfy bed. Location on a hill just off the main road so noise was not a concern. Pool area looked clean although we did not use it. Water pressure nicely adequate. Plenty of food options for breakfast in the lobby. A basic, clean, safe place to stay. Good restaurants nearby and the larger, wonderful town of Clayton is just down the road. Outdoor activities all around.
Negatives:
Hotel is under renovation so the elevator was not working and many things are torn up. But short term issues should be worth it for an upgraded place.
