Positives: Room interior OK.

Negatives: Hotel looked abandoned when we arrived. Many rooms, large parking lot, empty but for one or two cars. Run down appearance from exterior. My hotel room view in or out was blocked by a concrete building support panel. Felt insecure at such abandoned location. Two, then three men were hanging out within 50 ft of my room the whole time I was there (2hrs?). I spoke to front desk clerk who said these men were extended stay guests. The desk clerk did not offer a solution to my discomfort, so I asked for a refund, packed up my bags and returned home. I did get a refund from Red Roof. The ratings for this hotel on Booking.com are totally inaccurate and misleading, perhaps planted. My most unpleasant hotel experience in many years. Can you believe reviews anymore? I am not sure, but I will not rely on them anymore. I recommend that you pull the location up on a maps website, see what businesses are nearby, and maybe call one or two of the businesses to get an opinion about the location.
