It was clean and ideally located across the street from where I was having surgery the next day.

It might have been a wrong thing to assume, but there was no coffee maker in the room. I checked in late and didn't notice. In the morning I found a card that said I needed to request things for the room. I am just used to those things being in the room.

The bathroom had several problems, 1: The shower door would not open at all! 2: Screws were coming out of the cover plates on the switches. 3: The TV cut off and would not turn on until 6am the next morning.

Breakfast was a joke. Coffee and a stale packaged muffin and granola bar and packaged hard boiled egg.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The rooms were large, with full size fridge. The bed was very comfortable.
Negatives:
The cleanliness wasnt as one would expect. The main hallway on our floor looked like it had been quite some time since it was vacuumed and the room itself had a decent amount of leftovers from the previous occupant. There was also a dried puddle of something on the floor in our room which I easily cleaned with a towel (tells me they probably didnt sweep and/or mop after the last occupant).

from the outside it looks like a nice facility. but then I was greeted by the front desk lady, and then surprised with a $100 security deposit that was 1. not listed in the booking and 2. not mentioned when I called the hotel to confirm total price. When I expressed this, and that I had a very set budget for this trip, the lady told me that I either pay the $100 or not get the room in the rudest fashion. with all due respect, I was 4 states away from home, so I had no other option but to call family to borrow it from. the manager that the lady called was also rude, so the rudeness from the front desk made absolute sense after that. I will never stay at another location again. Oh and the full complimentary breakfast consisted of 10 nature valley granola bars in a basket. Thats a snack, and while I didnt expect much after our check in experience, I did at least expect some cereal.
