Hampton Inn By Hilton And Suites Savannah Midtown

Negatives: Not much. Outdated rooms. Another guest was letting a small child run laps in the hallway. Make so much noise that guests on the floor below us came to see what was happening. I went to the desk to ask for another room only to find other guests complaining about the noise. Told no other room available. After guests was talked with. The slamming of the doors started and screaming in the hallway. That continued for 10 minutes. Thought all was good. Then at 12:30 it started again.

Negatives: A little far from downtown.

Negatives: Indoor pool was freezing. So expensive and the indoor pool was irrelevant and it smelled like chlorine as soon as you walk in. I picked this hotel for the pool and i got robbed of my money.

Negatives: Our main complaint was having to pay for parking. $7 a night. If that had been stated in the description when I was looking for a hotel, I most likely would not have stayed there. Guest should not have to pay parking when that was pretty much the only parking available to this particular hotel. I would have understood if the parking deck was for one of the other hotels around us, but the parking deck was attached by a walk-way to the hotel we stayed in. The other thing I did not like was the fact, my wife was told since our stay was short we would not have room service (which we were ok with). The problem was, room service tried coming in our room around 10:00 am. Thankfully we sleep with the latch on our door, otherwise they would have just walked in while my wife and I were still in bed.The beds were decent, but not great. My wife said her bed felt like she was going to roll off the bed. You could tell it has definitely been used. The ladies at the front desk weren't very hospitality either. They were very monotone with speaking. Just not the Sounthern hospitality you would expect to get in Savannah, Ga.

Negatives: Nothing to complain about. Everything was great, clean, comfortable and smelled fresh and clean.

Negatives: Rooms are serviced only every other day. I was there four days and therefore had my room serviced only once on the second day of my stay.

Negatives: This Hampton inn really surprised me in a bad way. The hotel is dated and needs to be renovated. The furniture is dated. No microwave. The breakfast was ok. I'd stayed in Hampton inns my entire career but this Particular hotel kinda disappointed me. I don't enjoy giving bad reviews however, for the price I'd paid and what I'd expected disappointed me. This hotel met expectations but needs upgrade.
