We booked this property because of the pool area our stay was for a week. One of the days the Jacuzzi wasn’t working and for 2 of the days the whole pool area was closed it had been hired out for a private function and was incredible noisy

Bathroom was still dirty upon arrival, had quite a bit of all kinds of someone else’s hair. Called housekeeping to come and clean it, after a few hours with nobody coming we called the reception to change rooms, unfortunately we where moved to a room with nowhere near as good of a view so we asked to change back, reception said they where just about to give the room to someone else so we assumed we would go back and it would have been cleaned but it wasn’t.

Directly across the road from the beach with available umbrella/ chairs included for use .Great restaurants in the hotel and an ABC store. Good pool and service area for food/ drinks . Longboards club access for breakfast included in our stay was nice and refurbished inside and outside areas available.
Negatives:
Pillows uncomfortable and need replacement. Very limited hot options or bread etc available at Longboards for our included breakfast. The bathroom wasn’t the best . Very small . Bath shower and very tight to close the door to sit on the toilet .
Biggest thing we didn’t like like was in the 7 days of our stay , twice we were told the pool area closing early for private function! I mean what ? We pay to use the pool and it’s
services. How is this allowed? The hotel needs its own private functions space ,why are guests being penalised for the hotel to make more money off a function? Not only was it the early close time but the inconvenience of listening to the Maintenance people walk in tables, takeaway outdoor furniture and Just invade the space in general while sitting in swimwear trying to relax .

- Very poor communication on the changes and cancellations
- Big queue to check-in the hotel and talk to the front desk, poor management
- Breakfast standard was poor, low quality and menu was repeated, nothing to look forward to.
- Swimming pool was closed for events for 3 days out of 6 days stay, very disappointing
- Room service was not prompt
- Not all the staff was focused on exceptional customer satisfaction

The resort is kitted with every facility you could ask for, the pool is really nice and the bar food was good. Great gym. Great access to free beach chairs, towels etc
Negatives:
By far the worst part was that 2/4 nights we were there they closed the entire pool deck to run functions, leaving no pool option.
The elevators are constantly full and you have to stop at 20 floors on your trip up as there's 39 floors worth of people and four elevators.
