Positives: The price is fair compared with other big hotels near Waikiki beach; the room space is wide (I think I used a free upgrade); there is a mini kitchen, which should be nice if someone wants to do simple cooking.

Negatives: The room is smelly; the furniture is old and gloomy; there are bugs, probably due to the lower floors and opened windows; the AC is noisy but it's ok to close it due to the nice weather there

Positives: Waikiki is an expensive location. Ewa is reasonably priced but it's also an older hotel that shows it's age. I enjoyed the view towards the mountains from my room & the staff was friendly. An ABC store is nearby so you can keep food costs down with the kitchenette.

Negatives: The room is dated & worn. Room service is by request only. It'll only be cleaned if you ask!

Positives: Great location with a two minute walk to the beach. Large room with plenty of room to stretch out, bathroom a bit of a squeeze but adequate. Good wi-fi connection which was free, a nice little balcony. Also contained a fridge, microwave and cutlery which due to my short stop-over I didn'y use. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Negatives: Nothing to really complain about
